The Gathering Spaces

A spacious grassy riverfront setting with beautiful views of the New River, picnic tables, and plenty of open space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Lawn combines sun, shade, and scenic natural surroundings to create a peaceful, memorable gathering space for your special event. This is our largest area. 

A large shaded gathering space tucked beneath mature trees with a peaceful atmosphere and natural privacy. Surrounded by greenery and cooled by deep shade through much of the day, the Secret Garden offers a quiet, secluded setting designed for relaxed outdoor gatherings in a beautiful natural environment.  Numerous native plantings will take some time to mature and fill in, but the space already has a special sweetness. The Secret Garden is located farthest from the restrooms and parking.

A partially shaded gathering space with a comfortable mix of open lawn and mature trees. Located closest to parking and the playground area, East Overlook offers a relaxed outdoor setting with limited river views, and great protection from strong winds and hot sun. It's an   easily accessible and versatile space. 

A narrower stretch along the river beneath mature trees with benches, relaxing water sounds, and a quieter more tucked-away atmosphere. With deep shade and a bright sunny spot around the fire ring, everyone will find a spot to enjoy. Excellent bridge views create memorable sunsets.  The Long Way offers an affordable, peaceful setting for enjoying remarkable river views.

Unobtrusive foot paths connect the spaces to the parking area where port-a-johns are located. Generally there will be shade and sun in every zone any time of day along with 1-2 picnic tables and a fire ring.
